Privacy Policy
This page says what the site stores and how to ask about it. SoundSea is operated by its owner as a sole proprietorship, not by a company. These are the operator’s rules, not a lawyer’s opinion.
What is stored
An account stores the email address used to sign in, the profile you write, and the security session that keeps you signed in. Artist pages, uploads, posts, comments, follows, playlists, favorites, and play history are stored when you create them.
Audio and image files are stored so they can be played or shown. A purchase stores the order, the price, the item, and, for a beat, the license text you accepted. A download record stores which file the purchase unlocked.
Card numbers are handled by the payment processor. SoundSea does not store a full card number. The owner’s tax identity, when the payment processor requires it, is collected there and is not shown on this site.
A support case stores what you write and the owner’s reply. It is visible to you and the owner, not posted on the site.
How it is used
The information is used to run the account, play the music, complete a purchase, prevent fraud, and answer a support case. SoundSea does not sell personal information.
Who else handles it
The account database, the file storage, the payment processor, and the site host process information so the site can run. A seller receives the payment for that seller’s own sale. SoundSea does not give a seller your payment card.
Ask for your information
Sign in and open Help & Reports. Choose Account access, or Other, and write that the message is a privacy request. Say whether you want a copy, a correction, or a deletion review. The owner replies on that page. Email notice of the reply is not turned on, so check the page again.
The profile page can show what a future deletion would affect. Permanent self-service deletion is not enabled yet. Transaction, tax, fraud, dispute, and delivery records can be kept even after other profile information is removed. Do not put a payment card number or a government identification number in a support message.
The rules
Using SoundSea is also covered by the Terms of Service and, for sellers, the seller agreement.
